Dost dushman nazar nahin atay
Ab to pather bhi ghar nahin atay

Sub ko roona mera mazaq lagay
Ashq aankhon main bhar nahin aatay

Baap say pocho kia guzarti hai
Baitiyon k jo bur nahin aatay

Mujh say pocha yeh raat wehshat nay
aaj kal aap ghar nahin aatay

Dosti ho gaye sitaron say
Khuwab ab raat bhar nahin aatay
