As Salaam O Alaikum , I am sharing the tips for the interview and i hope it will help you . May be you have read it the same in other forum but i am sharing this based on experience .

1) Make Sure you have all the documents with you , Better take a folder file which you can buy from stationary shop it will cost you around 300 to 400 Rupees and it should have partitions in it. Put the financial documents in one partition , Academic records in another and so on so that you don't get confuse when Visa officer ask you to show the documents .

2) When Visa Officer ask you to come on the window and you see Visa officer always smile and say Hello Sir/madam Good morning . This will give him/her a good impression for sure .

3) Eye contact is most important . Don't get confuse its common thing that usually in interview most people get confuse because of hesitation problem , Be calm .

4) This is the most important point of your interview . NEVER LIE with the Visa Officer regarding anything . Like you have brother/sister in usa and he is working there . Don't say he is not working there or hide anything . Believe me they know everything . They have all the things in front of their screen . They got the database and can see it what status your relatives have . Have your parents applied or not for US CITIZENSHIP etc etc . So Don't Lie or be ready for rejection .

5) If you get Visa that' good thing say thanks in the end of the interview . But in case you don't get it . Don't get angry or start arguing with the Visa Officer , This will create problem for you in the future.

6) One last thing which If you got 214(b) Refusal . Don't apply until you have something to convince Him/Her . Remember Internships certificate and other Certificates wouldn't help things wouldn't give you much of strong country ties ( If you got married than it will give you 50% chance of the strong ties to your country ) . Some strong reason in Your file DS_160 .
