Shaam k saaye jo suraj ko chupanay niklay,
Hum diye lay k andheroon ko jalany niklay.. Aur to koi na tha jo jurm-e- baghawat karta, Aik hum hi thay jo yeh rasm nibhaney niklay.. Shehr mein dasht mein sehra mein bhi tujh ko paya, Aey gham-e-yaar teray kitny thikaney niklay.. Chand nikla to main logoon se lipat kar roya, Gham k aansu thay jo khushiyoon k bahaney niklay..... -
