What to expect on US VISA Interview Day at US Karachi Consulate

Hello to all readers . I am sharing experience what to expect on US KARACHI CONSULATE on your interview day . So here you go .

Things You need to bring with you
- Transparent File /Folder
- All your Academic Reports , Transcript of each and every semester , Degree
- Financial Support Documents
- two 2X2 Photograph
-All Passports ( if you have or ever visit other country before)

usually interview slip ask you to reach on time at 8:00 not before this but at Karachi consulate you will find parking area in opposite side of Consulate office on the main road near the bank ( UBL Building ) building .Park your car/bike there .

Entrance gate NO . 3 Take out your Interview Slip . You have to show this at the gate .
The guard will let you pass .
Then you will be in a Que where a guard checking passport and name and interview time etc. They will ask you to remove your wallet and any metallic thing you have for checking .

Then you will sit for about half hour before the main gate open .

When main gate is opened they will ask you to go one by one randomly Like who came first at the consulate etc.

When you entered in that gate they will ask you to remove anything metallic you have including Pen .

They will give you a Token Number , locker number and ask you to pass through security check gate .

After you clear it you will be taken to the interview office Where they will check security again .

Your passport will be taken by a guy who will ask you if you would like to give your interview in Urdu or English and they will put the sticker on your passport like 152 number .
Remember here If you are on F1 STUDENT VISA , You have to give interview in English . NO matter you tick english or urdu or what ever language .

After few minutes they will call your token number for your passport submission .

Then you are asked to sit and wait , After half hour Your number will be called and ask you to come on the window number for Finger Checking .
You will ask to dry your hands completely before put your hand on the scanning machine .
If your hands are not dry and your fingers print couldn't process , It can delay your interview on that day so make sure you dry your hands properly.
They will measure your height .
Then they will ask you to put your First put your left hand 4 Fingers on the machine
then 4 Fingers of the right hand .
Finally both Thumbs.

then wait for your turn for the interview call by Visa officer or watch the tv ( Some time its on , Some times it isn't ) in the waiting area .
