Khayal-o-Khawab hui hain mohabatein kaisi
Lahu mein nach rahi hain yeh wehshatein kaisi

Na shab ko chand hai acha na din ko mehar acha
Yeh hum pe beet rahi hain qayamatein kaisi

Wo sath tha to Khuda bhi meherban tha hum par
Bichad gaya to hui hain adawatein kaisi

Hawa ki raah pe rakhe huye charag hain hum
Jo bujh gaye to hawa se shikayetein kaisi

nahin khelta sirf husn hi khel is muhabbat me
Junoon bhi khel raha hai Siyastein kaisi

Yeh daur be-wafaa hai, bacha rakho khud ko
Yahan sadaqatein kaisi, karamatein kaisi
