tumhara naam likhnay ki ijazat chin gayi jab say
koi bhi lafz likhta ho to ankhay bheegh jati hai
najany hogaya haasaas hum is qadar kab say
kisi say baat karta ho to ankhay bheegh jaati hai
woh sab gozray hoyay lamhay hum ko yaad aatay hai
tumharay khat jo parhta ho to ankhay bheegh jaati hai
mai saara din bohat masroof rehta ho magar jo hi
qadam chokhat par rakhta ho ankhay bheegh jaati hai
haazaro mausamo ki hukmarani hai meray dil mai
wasi mai jab bhi hasta ho to ankhay bheegh jaati hai
