the memory i could never forget

the smile was once beautiful
but now haunts the mind
so many memories kept
so many nights i've wept

losing it to the memory
and trying to live
struggling to breath
pleading the memory leave

and now to lie to sleep
knowing of the thoughts to come
of the smile that taunts me
the memory i could never forget
