Umm upto where I am concerned, Ladka ghair muslim se shaadi ker sakta hai but the girl he marries, has to be ehle kitaab ..Which means jewish / christian...Ladka marrying someone like a hindu or a buddhist is not appropriate from islamic view. But the girl can marry only a muslim i guess..That's because in the society, a man has more say in family's religious values. And it is said that, he has a bigger influence in the family name. If a muslim girl marries a non muslim then her name will be converted under a non muslim's name. Therefore she would not be recognized as a muslim. She would most likely blend in. For example..If she marries a non muslim it will create problems for her. She would have to follow non muslim rituals and traditions according to her husband / husband's family...And then her In-Laws would be given a chance to taunt her and make comments about her due to her religion. If anything bad happens. they might as well blame her for the bad luck...who knows? I hope I didn't make a mistake. If I am wrong, feel free to correct me.

there is no prob if they become muslims, but if you marry a nonmuslim--its not right. sirf religious probs nahi balkay baad main bhi life main bohat sari complications ati hain.

Aap sab log to aise keh rahe ho ... jese bus ek Stamp lagani hai aur woh muslim ho jayega / jayegi ... Aap khud ko uski jagah rakh ker socho... kiya aap us k liye apna Mazhab change kero ge... Nahin... Aise he .. woh bhi soch raha hoga... To behter hai k is jhanjhat main paro he mat ...Musalman kiya khattam ho gaye hain .. jo ghair muslims main shadi kerne ka socha jaa raha hai.... ????
