Rookh ke pooch rahe the mujh se aysa chahne wale
Kiun her paal tarap rahe hain tum ko hi chahne wale

Kiun nahi yakeen hai tujay mohabat ka oo be-wafa
Dukh se bare andas main poch rahe the chahne wale

Mohabat ki bazi lagai bhi nahi, dard ko jana bhi nahi
Kiun kia tum ne aysa poch rahe the chahne wale

Kach ki guriya ho, aur soch rahi ho dukh dene ka
Diwane ho jate hain maloom hai, tum ko chahne wale

Sambal ke rakha hai maan main tum ko, phir bhi socho
Ays na ho, thoor dain tum ko tumhare hi chahne wale
