Nikalte suraj ki gulabi shuaao ko dekh kar
charte darya ki mast lehron ko dekh kar
tanha udas chand ko dekh kar
badlon bhare aasman ko dekh kar
yaad buhut tum ate ho

aik doje ka haath thame jorey ko dekh kar
aur chand ko takte chakori ko dekh kar
tez hawa ki setiyan sun kar
aur dor gata koi heer sun kar
yaad buhut tum ate ho

sahil e samandar per akele ja kar
wahan per kise ko na muntazar pa kar
sehra ki sard raat jab aye
bin mausam barsaat jab aye
yaad buhut tum ate ho

jab bhi kise ko muskurata dekho
geet pyar k gata dekho
yaad apni kahani ajaye
aur aankh main phir pani ajaye
yaad buhut tum aate ho.
