Tum ne jab neend mai haathon ko us k pakra tha,

us shab-e-wisaal saktay mai parh gya tha koi,

Jab bhi aati kabhi muskaan tere chehre pe,

haan! Phir dheeray se buht muskra dia tha koi,

Jab bhi takia tere sir se hut jaata tha,

phir apni gaud mai sir rakh k sulaata tha koi...
