Rock The Shaadi is a twisted version of Shahrukh Khan's Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. It is a zombie horror-comedy. Producer Ekta Kapoor stated, "This film is different from everything Abhay has ever done before. For the first time, he will be seen playing a sweet, mad and endearing Punjabi lover boy.
