DHAKA: Sri Lanka became the T20 champions defeating India by six wickets with 13 balls remaining in the final of the fifth World Twenty20 here at the Shere Bangla national Stadium in Mirpur on Sunday.
Chasing 131, Sri Lanka reached the target for the loss of four wickets in 17.5 overs.
