MELBOURNE: World famous slogger Chris Gayle leveled the fastest fifty record of Indian star cricketer Yuvraj Singh in T20 cricket, media reported.

Chris Gayle has equalled the world record for the fastest Twenty20 half century.

Gayle reached his 50 from just 12 deliveries, equalling the record set by Yuvraj Singh against England in Durban in 2007.
