If in discussions program, constitution and law of Allah opens the way to unity, peace, progress and prosperity for you, they claim the credit for it in front of you saying, did we not support you for achieving this? And if the opponents of Our guidance gain some advantage point, they claim credit before them saying, did we not have the advantage over you yet prevented your exposure at the hands of the missionaries by conspiring against them thereby did not let them succeed against you? Allah will make advantages of rule based upon His guidance fully manifest among you on the day it becomes fully established. So Allah will never let opponents of His mission triumph over those who are fully committed to working for unity, peace, progress and prosperity of mankind in any way.

These people are those who are never interested in learning things that matter and due to remaining confused just keep shifting their positions and loyalties according to their immediate interests because they have nothing else in mind to think about. When messengers of Allah begin their missions they invite people to a way of life advised by Allah so those who are sincere people they accept the message and if any have any proper questions they are satisfied. However when mission succeeds then even those who oppose the mission are forced for their own reasons to join in but they keep to same mindset, attitude and behaviour. They come into community because they are forced by their circumstances and they keep engaging in activities that suit them even after joining the community to see if they can get any support to turn the clock back. Sometimes these people are taken aback but they are allowed to continue in hope of change of minds and to keep peace within the community because these people come from families and have friends which could cause troubles within the community if these people are dealt with harshly without any solid proofs. No doubt community suffers due to such people but then all situations are not clearly black and white to deal with so there arise situations where in people are forced to put up with bad to stop things from getting worse.

142) Surely hidden opponents of rule based upon guidance of Allah try their best to undermine the struggle for the installation of the program, constitution and law of Allah but He lets them thereby expose themselves, watch them how they struggle for the installation of rule based upon guidance of Allah, they go along with the struggle reluctantly merely to be seen by the masses to be doing something to deceive them because they actually do not support the idea of living by way of life advised by Allah but a little as forced by their own situations and circumstances.

In these verses there is a very clear message for those who rather choose to stay ignorant and confused that they will never find peace in any way and remain in identity crisis till the day they die and in hereafter they will be dealt with as they deserve ie they will be in much worse situation because that is where their mindsets, attitudes and behaviours will lead them. Therefore it is better for people to learn things and become self aware and aware of real world realities as well as guidance of Allah and it all can help people to become proper human beings. There is no good reason why people should decide to keep themselves ignorant, illiterate and uneducated and live and die confused but choice rests with human beings how they want to shape their own lives and their societies.

transgress, to injure or damage or harm or offend, to ill-treat or insult or provoke, to experience a painful condition, to thirst or crave for or long for, to have need or desire for, to destroy unity over something, to become free, to sacrifice, to cut throat, to offer, to dedicate, to devote, to fly over something, to use ladder, to escape confinement using ladder or jumping over a prison wall, to use ways and means to overcome an obstacle or obstruction or a problem, to cause instability, to make something dangle or swing or shake or tremble or become unstable, to store, to hoard, to gather or put together, to cause to increase in number, to spread or scatter or broadcast, to produce offspring or cause to produce offspring, to create or fashion, to go over the top of something, to glide, to fly high above something, to be influential, to be dominant, to over shadow, to blow away, to become undone or come to nothing in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose, to send or awake or provoke or incite someone or something in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose, to rise or raise or uplift or elevate something in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose, to strew about or squander or disarrange or cause things to disarray in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose, to be far or go far or remove something in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose, to be or become mature or angry in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose, to be bitten by a mosquito in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose, to be ignorant or foolish or stupid or senseless in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose, to go over or beyond expectation or limit or reference point in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose, to seek or go after or wish for someone or something in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose, to split up or gash or plough or travel around in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose, to sprout or shoot in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose, to remain or stay behind or wait or survive or continue something in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose, to do something early in the day in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose, to wail or cry or bemoan or lament over something in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose, to mark a plot of land or abide in a place in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose, to swallow or swallow up something in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose, to reach or arrive at some point in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose, to exhaust something in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose, to attain a high degree or eloquence in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose, to exaggerate or convey or announce something in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose, to test or strive or put on trial in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose, barrier or something alike in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose, house or something alike in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose etc etc.

144) Therefore O you who claim to be committed to working for unity, peace, progress and prosperity of mankind, do not choose those who oppose installation of Our program, constitution and law as your leaders and supporters against those who are truly committed to working for unity, peace, progress and prosperity of mankind and are struggling for installation of Our program, constitution and law for the benefit of the mankind. Will you still be foolish enough after receiving His guidance to deliberately trigger the set-up systems and laws of Allah against yourselves by acting against His advice?

A clear warning for those who claim to be committed to mission of Allah that they should never make the mistake of siding with people who oppose the mission of Allah in anyway because if they will then consequences will be worse because doing wrong after knowing what is right is yet bigger crime than staying ignorant. This is why such rulers, mullahs and money lenders are trapped badly who claim to be followers of the Quran yet follow everything against the guidance of Allah. They think it is ok for people to rule each other, to make fool of each other and to use and abuse each other by using the very same tricks and mechanism as used by those who oppose the deen of Allah. This is why ummah is suffering much worse consequences than any other people in the world because they were given responsibility for guiding the rest of humanity not for misguiding it. Time for Muslims to think about it.

145) Surely the secret opponents of struggle for installation of Our program, constitution and law in the world are fallen to the lowest degree in humanity in kindling the fire of hatred between people so you will not find any helper for them to drag them out of there other than their own effort to learn.

something alike in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose, lower stage or something alike in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose, lower grade or something alike in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose, constitution or rule of law or tradition or custom or precedent or example or something hard or solid or firm or tough or something alike in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose, something sharp or pointed or something alike in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose, someone intelligent or clever or cunning or tricky or deceptive or someone alike in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose, something that consumes or destroys or cuts into pieces or separates or divides or does something alike in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose, measurement or something alike in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose, dry measure or something alike in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose, unit of measurement or something alike in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose, measuring instrument or tool or machine or equipment or mechanism or something alike in some sense in some way for some reason or purpose, something very basic or simple or low in status or humble, lowliness, low class or lower classes, masses, down trodden, working classes, socially isolated, social unskilled, people who lack ability of thinking rationally or logically consistently, people who do not learn sense of making proper sense of things, people who have no sense of making proper sense of things, uncultivated or uncultured or uncivilised people, people lacking in manners, untamed or wild people, the lowest of the low, utterly disgraceful people, abject, dilapidated, shrivelled, inferior, infernal, awful, abominable, fiendish, diabolical, irritating, confounded, restrained, chained or bound, extremely troublesome or quarrelsome, annoying, outrageous, a person from hell, down side of someone or something, wicked, evil, criminal, down below, degraded or more or most degraded, humble or most humble, vanquished or more or most vanquished, down to earth, raw material, something in its original or natural state or form, lower or lowest part of an object, low or lowest position or positions, bottom of the pile, dregs, rejects of a society or community, people or things that lack potential for development or evolution or making progress, a defeated or submissive people, lifeless or inactive or idle or dead people, people who lack ambition or desire, people who lack creative thinking or creativity, thoughtless people, people who have potential to develop or make progress yet do not bother to do so, people who conspire against everything that may ensure well disgraced, low class, a terrible state of existence, humiliation, to be low, to go low, to be base, to be vile, to be wild, to be a thief, to steal, to nick, to defraud, to hide, to be unruly, to be mischievous, to be lawless, to be rebellious, to transgress, to be simple or simple minded, to be very basic, to be at the starting point, to be ready to evolve or grow or develop or become complex or prosperous, to go or be ready to go for a higher state of existence or a higher status or position, to cut or cut off, to sever, to separate, to consume or eat or devour or destroy, to bite, to take hold of strongly, to hang or hold or catch or latch onto firmly, to injure or wound or hurt, to isolate or boycott or break ties or relationships or links or connections with, to be bitten, to have or set a tradition or precedent or example, to have or bring about a rule of law or constitution, to have or bring about a way of life, to be painful, to be infirm or unstable, to be old or aged or ancient or elderly, to lay down a way of life, to abide by a way of life, to have a way or formula or trick or technique to be or to do or to have or to use, to fragment or break or shatter into pieces or bits, to break up or fall apart, to break down, to come forth in puffs, to emit puffs, to take puffs on smoking material, to breathe forcefully and rapidly, to swell or seem to swell, to The lowest degree of humanity is below the standard of all the animals ie one is worst than animals.

146) However, those of them who turn to guidance of Allah and reform according to it and hold fast onto program, constitution and law of Allah for their true protection and become sincere supporters of struggle for installation of rule based upon guidance of Allah in the world then they are to be considered part of those who are truly committed to working for unity, peace, progress and prosperity of mankind and are actually struggling for it. That is why Allah will soon grant those committed to working for unity, peace, progress and prosperity of mankind a mighty outcome as a reward.

147) Just think about it, why will set-up systems and laws of Allah leave any of you to painful suffering if you were all consistent with each other and were working for unity, peace, progress and prosperity of mankind? For Allah through His blissful and dignifying program ensures success of those who are consistent in their efforts for making their world beautiful and proper as it ought to be.

148) Guidance of Allah does not approve even the hurtful use of words between people let alone their harmful and destructive actions against each other unless one is hurt without justification and steps are not taken by the community and its administration to redress the balance. Therefore inflict no harm on each other because Allah is all aware so He makes evident the results of peoples’ actions in due course so do things to benefit each other so that you do not have to regret your actions.

149) Whether you benefit each other openly or in private or stop each other from inflicting any harm and destruction upon each other, it is all because Allah has put in place measures to protect you the mankind from any harm and destruction that could destroy you as a result of your own thoughts and actions.

This verse tells us about closed loop universe which is protected in such a way that if anything causes things to go wrong it reacts to correct itself back to its workable range at least. Same is true about humanity that if some people take humanity the wrong way the rest react to bring it back within the workable range whereby mankind could continue their existence at least. The revelation is there to inform mankind about the laws of nature as well laws for people to abide by so that interaction between people could lead mankind towards better world bit by bit depending on what people make of the revelation and what they do to implement its program.

150) It is always the case that those who reject and oppose the installation of program, constitution and law of Allah through His messengers also plot to cause inconsistency between the program, constitution and law of Allah and His messengers by urging each other, accept some of it that suits us and reject other that does not suit our purpose, that is how they create a middle way between rule based upon guidance of Allah and rule based upon harmful and destructive way of life based upon personal gains at the expense of each other through their rulers, priests and money lenders.

This verse is very clear about people who separate God and mankind by creating divisions on basis of state and religion in order to remove the role of God as a sovereign and his right to rule his own world through his book as program, constitution and law. If a state is not based on true moral basis then it can never ensure proper freedom of thought and expression, proper justice and fairness, proper kindness and brotherhood for its people, so unity, peace, progress and prosperity like goals for people suffer severely. It is because then power lies in the hands of a tiny minority and they make laws in their own favour for using and abusing others. However, the end results of doing that is, none is free of regrets, worries and anxiety due to unnecessary rivalries that are set up or come into play and create animosities and wars.

151) Such are the people who are true rejecters and opponents of rule based upon Our guidance but We see in due course for such rejecters and opponents of Our rule humiliating painful suffering as a result of their own thoughts and actions.

152) However for those who are committed to working for unity, peace, progress and prosperity of mankind through installation of program, constitution and law of Allah along with His messengers and who do not create any conflicts between messages and messengers of Allah and their people involved in struggle, We will soon give them their due rewards in shape of a blissful and dignifying kingdom and that is how Allah bestows security upon mankind through unity, peace, progress and prosperity by way of His revealed program as His blessing for human community.

Here Allah is explaining the fact that all messages and messengers he sent for mankind were on the very same page and so should be their followers because all scriptures were sent with same goals and guidelines the same way for all people everywhere in the world. Any falsehood attributed to Allah and his scriptures and messengers therefore can be identified and separated so that the true message can be followed with full confidence by mankind. All this is possible only after people become knowledgeable through learning things for themselves. So long as people will remain ignorant, they will never be able to find the truth for themselves, so they will remain divided and at war with each other for securing their personal gains at the expense of each other.

153) Despite all this explanation due to their ignorance for keeping the religious divisions alive the people of the book demand of you that you cause a book to descend upon them from the heaven but surely they made a yet greater demand of Moses than this that they asked him, show us Allah in the open because they were in grip of total unawareness due to which they inflicted harms and destructions upon each other. Moreover they became involved in power struggle among themselves even after there came to them clear goals and guidelines from Us but We relieved them of their ignorance and troubles by giving Moses guidance to manifest it in form of a kingdom based upon it.

Verses like this again and again tell us that God only helps people through his revelation to educate and inspire people into action to do better for themselves. However, mankind do not like to leave their comfort zone and keep going back to their comfort zone rather than making head way. When most people decide to stay the way they are in a community unity, peace, progress and prosperity cannot come about unless people are forced in to action by their instincts for survival. This is the main reason for success of capitalism based secularism and power politics. Those who want to live or die get what they want and rest are not bothered and that is the main reason why world is the way it is. When this strangles humanity after some generations, bloody revolutions come about that change things a bit and things start all over again and again because humanity has not yet realised that it has no choice but to leave its comfort zone and become active. Rich sit idle by using others to work for them and poor look for easy solutions of their problems by running to holy magic men rather than putting effort in education and sensible hard work. This is how humanity loses out at both ends because a lot of manpower becomes wasted. Leaders do not have ability to manage people and resources properly so all live a life of pain and suffering, regrets, worries and anxiety.

The Quranic text discusses everything that mankind need to think about and do. Again and again it makes clear that it is not a religious holy book for worship of God. It is about knowing oneself and the rest of things and the world as well as God. In short the Quran is more about humanity itself than God. It had to be this way because it is not God that needs help of mankind but humanity that needs help of God to rise from its simplest state of existence to its full potential. The emphasis in these verses is very much on deen versus mazhab because mazhab thrives on ignorance of mankind but deen can only thrive on knowledge of mankind. It is because ignorant people look to others to take care of them hence they see need for rulers, mullahs and money lenders but knowledgeable people know they should rely upon themselves and each other but only on basis of mutually beneficial foundations for some goals worth having and some guidelines worth following. This is why people need to look at their scriptures for their purposes in their own proper contexts and not listen to their mullahs because mullahs are only there to mislead them about the message in the scriptures. It is mullahs who tell people all sorts of nonsense in the name of God in form of religion based interpretations of their scriptures and made up stories that cannot have basis in reality. Misinterpretations and misrepresentations of scriptures by mullahs are major reasons humanity is so divided about each and everything.

154) That is how We bound them together as a proper human community by making them agree upon obligations for each other through imposing upon them Our program, constitution and law as a way of life for them to abide by that is why We said to them, enter the gate of unity, peace, progress and prosperity submitting to Our program in words and actions and We said to them, transgress not the limit set by Our program, constitution and law for a proper human community and We took of them a firm pledge under oath for all this.

The Quran leaves mankind in no doubt that, human problems can only and only be solved by people working to their full ability according to the Quranic program. This is why Surah one is not only an introduction of God what God requires of mankind but is an agreement or a covenant between God and mankind. The idea is that to provide all mankind will ever need is responsibility of God which he has fulfilled and that mankind will have to act on it to get a united, peaceful, progressive and prosperous life. In a way Surah one is reminder of divine agreement each time people read it. This is why it is said that this Surah is solution for all problems. Not in the sense that people sit on a mat and keep reciting this Surah and all their problems will become solved magically but that once they become aware of what they ought to do they should get up and get on with it till they have accomplish what the book has told them to accomplish.
