Spaghetti with meat balls
Ingredients:
450g sphagetti
1 onion
2 cloves garlic
3 tbsp olive oil
6 tomatoes
1 tbsp brown sugar
meat balls
450gms meat
2 slice white bread
1 onion
1 tbsp parsley
3/4 cup cheese
salt pepper to taste
Method
For the meat balls: Soak bread in water squeeze & add to meat with finely chopped onion, parsley and cheese
For the seasoning: Beat eggs lightly, combine & fry.
For the sauce:
Heat oil, add chopped onion, crushed garlic & cook till golden.
Add blanched & pureed tomatoes, sugar, thyme, pepper and salt.
Lower heat cover & cook slowly for an hour.
Add meat balls and cook gently.
