itani muddat bad mile ho
kin sochon mein gum rahate ho

tez hava ne mujhase poochha,
ret pe kya likhate rahate ho

hamase n poochho hijr ke kisse
apani kaho, ab tum kaise ho

peechay mur k kyon deakha tha
pathar ban k kya taktay ho

kaun si bat hai tum mein aisi
itane achchhe kyon lagate ho
