Beqaraarii sii beqaraarii hai

beqaraarii sii beqaraarii hai
din bhii bhaarii hai raat bhaarii hai

zindagii kii bisaat par aksar
jitii baazii bhii ham ne haarii hai

toDo dil meraa shauq se toDo
chiiz merii nahiin tumhaarii hai

baar-e-hastii uThaa sakaa na koii
ye Gam-e-dil jahaaN se bhaarii hai

aaNkh se chhup ke dil mein baiThe ho
haa_e kaisii ye pardaa-daarii hai..
