aik bigDii huwii tasveer banaataa rehta houN
aik takhyual ko baarha aazmataa rehta houN

anaa persat samjhne kaa bhi shukriyaa jaanaaN
tum zulam dhaati raho maiN sir jhukataa rehta houN

be wafaa hotaa tu kab kaa mer jataa zindagii
sham ke charagh sab youN jalaataa rehtaa houN

tumhare sath apni uljhi taqdeer sanwaarni thi mujhe
so apnii qismet ki lakeeraiN mitaataa rehta houN
