ke mujhe usay bhulana padaa
Muhabbat ek afsanaa thii
so! afsanaa mujhe sunaanaa padaa
raah chaltay musafirouN maiN
Muhabbat jawan rehti he
her hairat kaday per
merii ye nazar he
fasouN he aaNkh kaa aur
JanouN ka ye shahr he
aur phir apnii apnii manzil pe
hamaiN bitcheD jana padaa
so kucH us raaH chaltii
Haseena ne maseeaaii kii
tu hamaiN bhi usay
Daagh-e-dill dikhanaa padaa
Phir YouN huwa ke mujhe
usay bhulana padaa
