tashnagi hoon aarzu hoon dard ki fariyaad hoon
aaik tanhaai ka markaz hoon chraagh-e-yaad hoon

mera mallah main khudi tha mera katib main khudi
apni har unwaan-e-barbaadi ki main ejaad hoon

meri tanhaai thikana hai mera kuch is tarha
hoon akela aur gham ki bazam main abaad hoon

mujhse na poocho meri nakaamiyoun ka silsila
phool daman main liye betha hoon aur nashaad hoon

zindagi ik dard hai kia kuch nahi haasil mujhey
har khushi se door hoon har chaain se aazaad hoon ...
