خواہش رہی اپنی

اک بار کبھی پوچھو

کیا مجھ سے محبت ہے؟

کیا مجھ سے محبت ہے؟

تب دھیرے سے میں بولوں

لا حاصل باتیں ہیں

ہاں ۔.کہہ کے میں کیوں جاناں!

دھند لا دوں نگاہوں کو

دوبھر ہو سنبھلنا پھر

قابو میں نہ دل آئے اور دھڑکن تھم جائے

انکار کی صورت میں

امکان ہے جی پاؤں

تھوڑی سی تسلی ہو

پہلے کی طرح اب بھی

خواہش ہی رہی اپنی

اک بار کبھی پوچھو ۔۔۔۔ خواہش ہی رہی اپنی!
