Barbad dil main rehta hai kyun

Ehsah se dur chala gaya hai
Bedum sanson main behta hai kyun

Masum armano ko ujad gaya hai
Viran tanhaiyun main basta hai kyun

Safar e hayat main chala nahin kabhi
Zakhmi ashqon main rukta hai kyun
