Jis din se Khmoshi hui aawaz hamaari
Gum ho gai SeHraoN meN aawaaz hamari

Pataal meN to aaj hamaiN dekhh rahe ho
Dekhhi nahiN aflaak pe parwaaz hamaari

Gum hote gaay neend ki wadi meN kahiN hum
Go neend bhi ho paai na aaghaz hamari

Dar is ka agar wa ho kisii or jahaaN meN
Deewar na ho phir nazar andaaz hamari

Aao k nae aks ki tnzeem kareN hum
Herat na rahe aaina pardaz hamari

Socha tha k ik dasht ko seraab kareN ge
Be kar gai haay! tag o taaz hamari

Hum bargahe waqt ke Mehmood the Ashraf
karta tha parastish kabhi Ayyaz hamari

Kabhi zindagi me kisik liay mut rona**
q k vo''tumhare ansoun k kabil nahi ho ga''
or ''vo'' jo is ''kabil'' ho ga vo tumhe ''rone'' nahi de ga''*****
