KARACHI: Well-known businessman Riaz Lalji went missing in Karachi on Sunday hours after arriving in the city from Dubai, Geo News reported.

Initial reports indicate that Riaz Lalji went missing in front of a super market located near Karachi airport.

The event created a stir among the law enforcing agencies while high ranking police officials have a held a meeting to trace the whereabouts of the missing businessman.

According to sources, Riaz Lalji is one of close friends of President Asif Ali Zardari.

It may be mentioned here that President Zardari is scheduled to return home from Dubai tonight.
