بڑے مختصر سے حروف میں
مجھے گہری بات بتا گیا
کہ وہ خواب سا کوئی شخص تھا
جو سحر سے پہلے جگا گیا
کسی مہربان کی دعا سے
یہ سفر تمام ہوا میرا
جنھیں رہبری کا غرور تھا
انھیں راستوں نے مٹا دیا
ہمیں آسماں سے گلہ نہیں
تیری رحمتوں پہ یقین ہے
جہاں زندگی شکست دی
کسی معجزے نے بچا لیا
ہمیں زندہ ہونے کا حوصلہ
تیری آرزو نے عطا کیا
بڑے گہرے زخم ملے ہمیں
جنھہں رفتہ رفتہ مٹا دیا
