Dhondnay jis mein zindagi nikli

Wohee us shakhs kee gali nikili

Teray lehjay mein tha nahee kia kuchh
Sirf such kee zara kami nikli

Woh jo legti thi kanch ki guriya
zZarb perhnay pe aahini nikli

us haveli mein shaam dhelnay per
her dereechay se roshni nikli

Woh hawa tu nehi thi lerki thi
Kis liye itni sirphri nikli

Woh teray asmaan ka kia kerti
Jis ki mitti se dosti nikli

Kabhi zindagi me kisik liay mut rona**
q k vo''tumhare ansoun k kabil nahi ho ga''
or ''vo'' jo is ''kabil'' ho ga vo tumhe ''rone'' nahi de ga''*****
