تم تو بچھڑ گئے مگر سپنے وہی رہے
موسم بدل گئے مگر منظر وہی رہے

ہوتی رہیں سرگوشیاں تنہائیوں کے ساتھ
لہریں بدل گئیں مگر ساحل وہی رہے

کچھ ایسے تقدیر نے فیصلے کیئے
دُعائیں بدل گئیں مگر دامن وہی رہے

ہم چاہ کے بھی عمر بھر ناشاد ہی رہے
عمر بیت گئی مگر جذبے وہی رہے

کیا ہُوا جو رشتوں کی پہچان بدل گئی وصی
ہم بھی وہی رہے اور تم بھی وہی رہے
