guftagoo achi lagi zouq e nazer acha laga
mudaton k bad koi humsafer acha laga.

dil ka dukh jana tu dil maslaa hey per hamey
us ka hus d ena hamary hal per acha lagaa..

her terha ke beysarosamneyon k bawajood.
aaj woh aaya tu mujhy apna gher acha laga..

kon muqtal mein na pohncha kon zalim tha jesay
teghe e qatil sey zada apna sir acha laga..

hum bhe qael hein wafa mein ustawari k mager
koi pochey kon kise ko umer bhar acha laga..

meer ke manand akesr zeest kerta tha faraz
tha tu woh dewana sa shaer magar acha laga..
