kbhi youn howa k
main bazar mein chalte chalte
girr paraa

ek shuks mujhy matub mein ley gaya
meri daikh k nabz tabieb ne yeh kaha
yeh mareez-e-ishq boht aaleel hai
issy mutt bachaoo
issy marny dou

yeh sun kar kisi yar ne mujhy outthiya
aur girrya nehar mein
younhee behta raha roz-o-shab
aur pohnch gaya oss k shehr mein

phir ek shab koyi nehar kinaray aa gaya
aur daikh k paani mein laash bari be suddh
wou ghabra gaya
phir kar k pehchaan meri
zara dil thaam k
paani mein outtrr gaya

aur kar k band mein aankhein
zor sy rony laga
kaha mein ne galii!
tou aap sara jahan chor gaye

awaz aaie meri laash sy
ab routti hai zor zor sy kiyu
jissy koyi naa mitta saka
ossy teri bewafii ne mitta diya
tou ne ossy khaak mein milla diya
