رُتّاں پِھریاں، یار نہ مِلیا، ڈھونڈے جنگل بیلے
اَکھّاں کولوں اوجھل وسدا، ساہواں دے وِچ کھیلے
مر جاواں گے فیر ہوون گے، اوہدے ساڈے میلے
ہجر فراق دے صدمے واصف کد تک جان تے جھیلے
واصف علی واصف

Kabhi zindagi me kisik liay mut rona**
q k vo''tumhare ansoun k kabil nahi ho ga''
or ''vo'' jo is ''kabil'' ho ga vo tumhe ''rone'' nahi de ga''*****
