[Abu Hafsat]

Salaam everyone,

In his book, "ADMONITION FOR THE NEGLECTFUL", Faqih Abu Lais Samarqandi, may Allah be Merciful to him, mentioned that carrying out 4 things and abstaining from another 4 things will protect one from punishment in the grave. The 4 things to Practice are:--

1) Punctuality with Salaah
2) Abundant (regular) charity/sadaqa
3) Recitation of the Holy Qur'an, and
4) Abundance of Zikr (regularly).

And the 4 things to avoid..abstain from are:--

1) Lying 2) Misappropriation of trust 3) Carrying tales and 4) Droppings of urine (from contaminating the body and/or clothes)

The Noble Messenger of Allah, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, has mentioned that punishment in the grave is usually due to droppings of urine. Note this well.
