Yeh dil tanha na tha tanha hua hai
Tumhara dard jo rootha hua hai.

Jahan ab tishnagi sar phorrti hai
Woh dil dariya tha ab sehra hua hai
.

Agar main kuch nahin us k liye tau
Woh mere baad kiyun tanha hua hai
.
.
Kayee sadiyon mein jo yakja hua tha
Wafa ka khawab woh bikhra hua hai
.
.
Main us waqt se zinda nahin hoon
Woh jiss waqt se mujhe bhoola hua hai
