Dil ki baat laboon per la kar ab tak hum dukh sehtay hein
Hum ne suna tha is bastii mein dil walay bhi rehtay hein

Beet gaya sawan ka maheena, mausam ne nazrein bedleen
Lakin inn pyaari ankhon se ab tak aansoo` behtay hein

Ik hamein aawarah kehna koi bara ilzaam nahi
Duniya walay dil waloon ko aur bohat kuch kehtay hein

Jin ki khatir shehar bhi chora jin ke liye budnaam howaye
Aaj wohi hum se be-ganay be-ganay se rehtay hein
