Har koi dil ki hatheli pe hai sehra rakhey,
Kis ko sairaab kare woh kise pyasa rakhey

Umer bhar kaun nibata hai taluk itna
Ae meri jan ke dushman tujhe allah rakhe,

Humko acha nahin lagta koi humnam tera,
Koi tujhsa ho tu phir nam be tujhsa rakhey.

Dil b pagal hai us shaks se wabasta hai,
Jo kise aur ka hone de na apna rakhey

Kam nahin tamam ibadat bhi to hirs-e-zar se,
Fuqr to wo hai ke deen na duniya rakhey.

Hans na itna bhi faqeeron ke akelepan par,
Khuda meri tara tujh ko b tanha rakhe

Yeh qana.at hai, ita-att hai ke chahat hai Faraz
Hum to razi haiN wo jis haal mein jesaa rakhe
