Suno, ajj phir marne ka khayal dil mai ayya hai
Bin tere zindagi ka ek pal bhi yah dil jee na paaya hai..

Jine ke bahane mil rahe hai bahoot, magar
Her mout ke khayal mai tujhko paaya hai..

Bahut sambhala hai is tadapte dard ko
Shayad dard ko bhi mujh per taras ayya hai..

Hai andhkaar aor ab roshani ki bhi chah nahi
Mil kar bhi mujhe, jo, tu na mil paayi hai..

Sun, ajj phir marne ka khayal dil mai ayya hai
Bin tere zindagi ka ek pal bhi yah dil jee na paaya hai
