Kyu-n ab ye baat hai Daman Chhurane ki
kyu-n Mohabbat se kadam peechhe hatane ki

Tumhara to wada tha saath chulne ka
Kyu-n ab ye tammana huyee muker jane ki

Rah-e Mohabbat kub aassan ruhi hai Hum dum
Phir Ye baat to nahi-n hai samjhane ki

Doobne ki soch ab, kyu-n ker aayee
Jub ki abhi waqt hai dariya men uter jane ki

Thaam ke chulo haath mera o mere sanam
Ab to zeed hai meri saath hi mur jane ki

Falak ko bijaliya-n girane ki tamman ho to Ho
Humen to badi husrat hai ek aasiya-n banane ki
