Tanha rehna seekh rahee hoon
Mar kay jeena seekh rahee hoon

Mang kay pana seekh liya hai
Pa kay khona seekh rahee hoon

Sabar ko zad-e-rah bana kar
Kanch pay chalna seekh rahee hoon

Phirtay, phirtay sehra, sehra
Pyaas ko peena seekh rahee hoon

Marham to rakhna na aaya
Zakhm khoorachna seekh rahee hoon

Jeenay kay hain ajab taqazay
Zinda rehna seekh rahee hoon

Madhooshee nay bohat sataaya
Hosh main rehna seekh rahee hoon

Barson guzray phir bhi ab tak
Maan say bichcharna seekh rahee hoon

Dar kar zehar kay pyaalay say
Such ko chupaana seekh rahee hoon

Rotay rotay auron par
Khud pay hansna seekh rahee hoon

Ghum nay mujh ko bohat hai khaya
Ab gham khana seekh rahee hoon

Is pay hairan hotee hoon
Kartab, kya kya seekh rahee hoon...
