Tha jis ka intizaar woh paigaam aa gaya
Mehb oob ke honton pe mera naam aa gaya

Main jis ki raah dekhta tha roz akela
Woh shakhs mere paas sar-e-aam aa gaya

Main sochta tha kya, aur guzri hai mujhpe kya
Thi zaat meri saaf, ik ilzaam aa gaya

Jab se hai sar pe kafan para sochta hoon main
Thi zindagi bechain aur aaraam aa gaya

Hai is se bara kya saboot ishq ka mere
Dua mein haath uthe aur tumhara naam aa gaya

Ho ga udaas mujh se bichar ke wohi
Jis ke labon pe kal ko mera naam aa gaya...
