Ham ko to gardish-e-haalaat pe ronaa aayaa
rone vaale tujhe kis baat pe ronaa aayaa

kaise mar-mar ke guzaarii hai tumhen kyaa maaluum
raat bhar taaron bharii raat pe ronaa aayaa

kitne betaab the rim jhim mein piiyenge lekin
aa ii barsaat to barsaat pe ronaa aayaa

kaun rotaa hai kisii aur ke Gham kii Khaatir
sab ko apnii hii kisii baat pe ronaa aayaa

ye din to qayaamat kii tarah guzaraa hai
jaane kyaa baat thii har baat pe ronaa aayaa

Kabhi zindagi me kisik liay mut rona**
q k vo''tumhare ansoun k kabil nahi ho ga''
or ''vo'' jo is ''kabil'' ho ga vo tumhe ''rone'' nahi de ga''*****
