dekhnaa hai wo mjh par meharbaan kitna hai
asaliyat kahaan tak hai aur gumaan kitna hai

kyaa panaah deti hai aur ye zamin mujh ko
aur abhi mere sar par aasamaan kitna hai

kuch Khabar nahi aati kis ravish pe hai tuufaan
aur kataa phataa baaqi baadabaan kitna hai

tor phor karti hen roz Khwaahishen dil men
tang in makaanun se ye makaan kitna hai

kya uthaye phirta hai baar-e-aashiqi sar par
aur dekhne men wo dhaan-paan kitna hai

harf-e-aarazu sun kr jaanchane laga yaani
is men baat kitni hai aur byaan kitna hai

phr udaas kr degi sarsuri jhalak us ki
bhool kr ye dil us ko shaadmaan kitna hai
