ansuon ka shaam ki traha palkon pe laraztayrehna
doob jaay jo ye manzar to barastay rehna

uski adat wahi har baat adhoori karna
aur phir baat ka mafhoom badaltay rehna

aag se seekh liya he ye qareena humne
bujh bhi jana to barri dair sulagtay rehna

jaanay kis umer mein jaye gi ye adat uski?
Roothna khud se to auron se ulajhtay rehna
