men din to kat leta hun
kisi hele bahane se
magar phir sham hote hi
teri khuwahish teri yadon ki ongli tham kar
dil men otarti hai
to ghabra kar nikal ata hun men sunsan sarkon par
kinare jin kay istadah shajar mahol ko kuch aur bhi ghamnak karte hen
woh mujh se khof kha kar qumqumon se noot ki faryad karte hen
magar yeh qumqume kub noor ki kherat dete hen ?
kay peeli roshniyan in ki joh hen giryan kinan mere ojarne par
meri yadon kay is matam kade men ben karti hen
mujhe yeh sham sarken roshni
kuch aur bhi bechain karti hen
