hum bhi chup chaap phira kerte the

ankhon main piyas howa kerti thi
dil main toofan utha kerte the

log aatey the ghazal sunaane ko
hum teri baat kia kerte the

such samajhte the tere vaadon ko
raat din gher main raha kerte the

woh bhi kia din the tujhe bhula ker
hum tujhe yad kia kerte the

kal tujhe dekh ker yaad aya
hum bhi kabhi piyar kia kerte the
