Sochtay aur jaagtay saanso'n kaa ikk darya hoon mei
Apnay gum-gashta kinaroan kay liyye behtaa hoon mei

Jall gaya saara baddan inn mausmoa'n kee aag mein
Aik mausam rooh ka hei jis mei ab zinda hoon mei

Merray hontoan ka tabassum day gaya dhoka tujhay
Tu nay mujh ko baagh jana, daikh lay sehra hoon mei

Daikhiye mairi pazeerayee ko ab aata hei kaun
Lamha bhar tau waqt kee dehleez per aaya hoon mei
