MF Hussain's son plans film on him

Born on September 17, 1915 in Pandharpur in Maharashtra, Husain was mainly a self-taught artist. He made ends meet in his initial days by painting cinema hoardings in Mumbai, paid barely four or six annas per square foot. As soon as he earned a little bit he used to take off for Surat, Baroda and Ahmedabad to paint landscapes. Husain tried other jobs and one of the best paying was a toy factory where he designed and built toys.
Died on 9th June 2011 (aged 95) at London, England, United Kingdom

After all sort of tributes to the celebrated painter MF Hussain who passed away recently, now a film would be made on him. His son Owais has decided to work on television bigoraphy on his life, which was lived on the edge. Owais assisted MF when the latter directed Gaja Gamini and Meenaxi. Owais had made a documentary on MF's life titled 'Letters To My Son About My Father'.

Lucknow Univ denied Big B from meeting students


Bollywood actor, Amitabh Bachchan promoted his upcoming movie, 'Aarakshan' in Mumbai on Tuesday.Addressing mediapersons on the occasion, he said that though Lucknow University had denied him permission to interact with the students on the issue, he hoped he would get an opportunity to talk with students of some other college. Expressing his happiness over the movie getting the U/A certificate, Bachchan said the censor board passed the movie without a single cut.

Rajesh Khanna has fallen in love again
The 68 year old veteran star Rajesh Khanna has fallen in love again. Khanna, considered as the first superstar of the Indian cinema, these days shares a great relationship with his childhood friend Anita Advani. Anita, niece of the former president of Philippines, Ferdinand Emmanuel Edralin Marcos, visits Khanna's bungalow very often and both go out and spend time together in each other's company. Though Kaka, who got separated from wife Dimple Kapadia, almost a little less than three decades back, denies love between them, their behaviour indicates that they are very much in love with each other.
