Baatoon he baatoon mein dastaan bna laita hoon
Ghum keh dour mein khud ko chtaan bna laita hoon
Jin lougoon ki baatein mere kanoo mein ras golein
Bina soche samjeh unein apni jaan bna laita hoon
Jab koi nahein sunta meri pyari gazlein nazmein
Ghar ki deewaron ko kaan bnaa laita hoon
Jo apneh dil ki baat mujeh kehni ho kisi seh
Mein qalam ko apni zubaan bnaa laita hoon
Pyar se baat karta hoon har Akbar o Asghar seh
Youn mushkal baat ko ahsaan bnaa laita hoon
Khuda neh mujeh aisa munfarid andaz baksha hai
Har mehfil e sukhn mein apni pehchaan bna laita hoon
