Teri chahat mein hum zamana bhool gaye
Tere baad kisi ko apnana bhool gaye

Phir laga sara jahan veerana hum ko
Jese chaman mein phool mehekna bhool gaye

Tumse mohabbat hai bataya sare jahan ko
Ye hi baaat tum ko batana bhool gaye

Hum ne mita diya jahan bhi likha tha naam tera
Magar apne dil se mitana bhool gaye

Wo juda huye hum se muskurate huye
Magar apni palkon se ansu hatana bhool gaye
