ai dil-e-raayegaaN udaas udaas
phir rahe ho kahaaN udaas udaas

chaaNd ek umr se safar meN hai
aasmaaN aasmaaN udaas udaas

jab bhii dekhaa hai jhaaNk kar dil meN
ho gayaa sab jahaaN udaas udaas

zindagii khel hai udaasii kaa
ham yahaaN, tum vahaaN udaas udaas

kyaa udaasii sivaa nahiiN kuch bhii
ai mere laa-makaaN udaas udaas

raat phir kyuuN jaagte ho aaKhir
is tarah merii jaaN udaas udaas

ek taraf Gham haiN ek taraf KhushiyaaN
aur maiN darmiyaaN udaas udaas
