ik Gazal us pe likhuuN dil kaa takaazaa hai bahut
in dinon Khud se bichhaD jaane kaa dhaDakaa hai bahut

raat ho din ho Gafalat ho ki bedaarii ho
usko dekhaa to nahiin hai use sochaa hai bahut

tashnagii ke bhii muqaamaat hain kyaa kyaa yaanii
kabhii dariyaa nahiin kaafii, kabhii qataraa hai bahut

mere haathon kii lakiiron ke izaafe hain gavaah
main ne patthar kii tarah Khud ko taraashaa hai bahut

koii aayaa hai zaruur aur yahaaN Thaharaa bhii hai
ghar kii dahaliiz paa-e-nuur ujaalaa hai bahut ..
